Budget Engagement Ends Friday (and a few upcoming events)

Hey there,

We want to remind you to fill out the City of Edmonton’s Budget Engagement Survey if you haven’t already. The deadline is Friday, May 1st. If you have already participated - that’s awesome, now are you able to get a friend to fill it out before the deadline as well?

We have heard that a lot of the engagement session attendees are the sort who don’t like bike lines - so we really want to counter that and let  council and administration know that we want to see funding for active transportation, public transit, climate action, affordable housing and good public services! And remember we can pay for this by defunding the police!

There are still three engagement sessions left - Ward Ward O-day'min, Ward Karhiio and Ward Sipiwiyiniwak. You can go to any of them - you don’t have to attend the one that is only in your ward!

Tuesday, May 12: Toxic Trivia Night! CJE is partnering with 350.org to host a Toxic Trivia night! Put your environmental knowledge to the test and help bust Big Oil’s propaganda – one trivia question at a time! Food and drinks provided! RSVP here
